Cloud costs can spiral out of control if not monitored. This estimator provides a rough monthly baseline for common resources like Virtual Machines (EC2) and Managed Databases (RDS).
Common Costs
- Compute: The servers running your code. Costs increase with CPU and RAM.
- Database: Managed databases are expensive but handle backups and scaling for you.
- Bandwidth: Data transfer fees (Egress) are often hidden costs not included here, usually around $0.09/GB out.
