Is your course profitable?
Creating an online course involves significant upfront effort and cost. Calculating Return on Investment (ROI) helps you understand if your marketing spend and production efforts are paying off.
Key Metrics
- Revenue: Course Price × Number of Sales.
- Total Cost: Production (Equipment, Software, Editing) + Marketing (Ads, Email Tools).
- Net Profit: Revenue - Total Cost.
- ROI: (Net Profit / Total Cost) × 100. A positive ROI means you are making money.
Break-Even Point
To break even, your Revenue must equal your Total Cost. Divide Total Cost by Course Price to see how many units you need to sell to cover your expenses.
